Our Designer, Nary Vang, is the owner of NV Designs. She joined the Our Community Magazine team in 2014 as our graphic artist. She shares her talents with the OCM team by collaborating with clients about ad conception and design, producing the publication’s graphic works, and handling the publications’ layout.

Jamie Augenstein White has lived in Flower Mound for 25 years and is the Event Specialist for Seven Loaves Catering & Events and 9 Social. She has been actively involved in the business community for over 8 years and is currently the President of the Women of Flower Mound.

Victoria Calvin is the Training and Recruitment Coordinator with CASA of Denton County, Inc. where she actively recruits and trainings community volunteers to become advocates for children in foster care.

Helen Chouinard is a Professional portrait artist with 25 years of enjoyable experience behind the camera.

Shelly Dodge is the President and owner of Visionary Financial Group. She and her family have lived and been active in the Flower Mound area for almost 20 years. Her passions are helping and working with children, as well as, assisting people with their financial needs.

Lori Fickling is a writer, political junkie and a social media specialist. She also owns iTrendz Communications, a social media marketing company.

Mike Fickling is a retired firefighter/paramedic and a long-time writer, editor, and publisher. He and his wife, Lori, are the owners of Keepsake Biographers, specializing in preserving family histories and writing custom biographies.

Amanda Hall is a senior at Marcus High School. She enjoys photography and writing about things that inspire her. Politics has always driven her as she lives by the quote that states: “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Melissa Johnson is a Graphic Designer and Photographer. She is not only a native Texan, but she has lived in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area her whole life. She is the proud wife of an Army Veteran. Together, they have 3 children. Melissa loves being a part of the local business community and enjoys capturing special moments with her camera.

Jeff Klein teaches Business Networking inside companies, to sales teams, at meetings, and at National and International Conferences. As the Founder of Speaker Co-op, Jeff also teaches the Art of Speaking to Market Your Business. Speaker Coop holds Lunch & Learns monthly in DFW & Houston.

Sandy Luedke is the Owner and Founder of both Ideal Real Estate Group and Professional Business Networking (PBN). With 30 years of experience as a successful realtor, Sandy loves to share her knowledge with new and struggling real estate agents

Martin Mussey is a radio personality and an ActionMAN himself. Martin’s passion and purpose is to help business owners have a better life for themselves and those close to them. Coach Martin does this by teaching the skills and strategies for a harmonious life and a profitable business through what he calls, The Art of Business.

Brandi Rodgers is owner of Brandi B. Photography in Highland Village, offering Fine Portraiture throughout the DFW Metroplex. Brandi has over 27 years of photographic experience and holds a B.S.
and M.A. degree in Photography. She is also an Adjunct Professor for the past 20 years at Dallas Baptist University, teaching photography in the Fine Arts Department. Brandi enjoys capturing all the special moments
in her clients lives!

Cristina Rodriguez is the Vice President of Program Development with the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce. Cristina has ten years of experience in the non-profit industry and excels in fundraising, event planning, marketing, and relationship building. She has a passion for creating inspiring and lasting experiences for the individuals and businesses she serves through the programs and events she executes.

Dennis Song RPh, CHC is the only integrative pharmacist practitioner in the southern Denton County area. He has served his community for over 30 years and was named, “Innovative Pharmacist,” by the Texas Pharmacy Association in 2003.

John Steele is the president of Alternative Living Choices, which assists senior citizens find clean, safe, and affordable housing in the greater Dallas area. John interviews the client and their families to determine their needs and then helps them decide on the most appropriate living environments.

Christina Thomas is the owner of Storyteller Adventures, a local travel company. She believes the adage that “Travel will leave you speechless then turn you into storyteller.” She enjoys helping people from all walks and in all seasons of life to make their travel dreams come true.

Marsha Thomas is the President and Owner of TNT Promotions, LLC. Marsha has over 25 years of experience working in goal-oriented environments, developing and managing programs in the Human Resources sector. She has managed both client and employee facing initiatives and has a strong focus on brand awareness.

Eren Turner is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Executive Director of Youth and Family Counseling in Lewisville, a non-profit mental health agency serving Denton County.

Bob Weir began a writing career about 15 years ago and had his first book published in 1999. He went on to write and publish a total of seven novels. His books are available on Amazon.com and other online booksellers. He’s also a former newspaper editor and a syndicated columnist under the title, “Weir Only Human.” Read his blog online at:
